Oral Hygiene

Good oral hygiene is the practise of keeping your teeth and gums clean at home and work. It also prevents dental cavity, bad breath, gingivitis and prolongs the life of a healthy mouth. Eating healthy and being able to enjoy good food is the most basic function of a human body. We tend to take our teeth for granted and compromise brushing and flossing daily which results to caries and unhealthy gums.

Bacteria lives in our mouth in the form of plaque, it is a sticky layer of bacteria that accumulates and sit on your teeth which eventually leads to periodontal (gum) disease. If you don’t brush and floss regularly and thoroughly plaque eventually hardens and turns into tartar which cannot be cleaned at home.

It is a good regime to visit your dentist every six months to keep track of your teeth and have them professionally cleaned in office . Our professional staff will take you on a "Back to Basics" tour each time and ensure you become profound with home care and check on your performance every six months.
